Mr. Karim H. Kantar is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in adult & paediatric spine surgery. His expertise in spinal conditions was honed through extensive training at leading medical centres in Australia & North America. He learned from eminent Orthopaedic & Neurological surgeons, gaining exposure to the latest techniques & technologies.

Mr. Kantar graduated from Flinders University School of Medicine & completed his Orthopaedic surgical training in SA/NT. He then pursued a Clinical & Research Fellowship in Adult Spine Surgery at Austin & Alfred Hospitals in Melbourne, followed by a Clinical Spine Fellowship at the Melbourne Orthopaedic Group & the Royal Children's Hospital.

He further expanded his expertise in Canada, where he worked at the Children's Hospital of BC in Vancouver & received a Fellowship in Paediatric Spine Surgery from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Kantar focused on managing deformities in both paediatric & adult patients, including vertebral body tethering.

Mr. Kantar is dedicated to education & research. He actively participates in the training of registrars & fellows, contributes to clinical research initiatives & maintains membership in various professional societies.

Mr. Kantar's treatment philosophy emphasises an individualised approach to spinal conditions. He employs specific diagnostic modalities to ensure accurate assessments & works collaboratively with patients to choose the least invasive treatment option.
