Prof Tim Whitehead is an internationally recognised knee surgeon, who is lauded for his high level of clinical care and academic practice.
He is a member of and held leadership positions for several prestigious groups and societies, such ISAKOS and the ACL Study Group. He is an active member of the Australian Knee Society and in 2008 was awarded the prestigious APKASS/ESSKA Travelling Fellowship entitling him to membership of the distinguished Magellan Society.
As an award-winning researcher and academic, Tim is frequently invited to lecture at national and international conferences.
Tim works closely with Industry and is an active member of several implant and technique design teams, covering both sports surgery and arthroplasty, including implant design, computer navigation and robotics.
