Dr Anna Anderson is our newest Associate Endocrinologist who has joined us all the way from Scotland. She is UK trained and has been working in the NHS system specialising in Endocrinology and working in the busy public sector prior to her move down under.
She also has a position at University Hospital Geelong as the research fellow for 2020 involved in some of the clinical trials and at the High Risk Foot Unit with Dr Roberts.
Anna is skilled in the management of pituitary, metabolic, thyroid and adrenal disorders. She strives to help individuals manage their complex medical issues in and around the demands of everyday life with a particular interest in the management of Type 1 Diabetes and Insulin Pump Therapy.
In addition to her endocrinology training at the University of Edinburgh Anna achieved a Doctor of Philosophy in Endocrinology investigating steroid regulation within the body.
As well as her commitment to private and public practice in Geelong, she is now involved in Clinical Trials through Barwon Health.
