Associate Professor Dixon Woon is a RACS-accredited, Australian-trained urologist dedicated to delivering individualised, holistic care. He believes that the best outcomes begin with listening - taking time to understand each patient’s concerns and working collaboratively to determine the most appropriate treatment options. His philosophy is simple: to provide the level of care he would want for his own family.

Dixon has extensive expertise in complex robotic and minimally invasive surgery, with a particular focus on urological cancers. He completed his Doctor of Medical Science at the University of Melbourne in 2018, specialising in prostate cancer immunology, and subsequently undertook a prestigious Society of Urologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Toronto and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in 2019.

He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, secured more than $300,000 in research funding, and presented widely at national and international scientific meetings. He holds academic appointments as Clinical Associate Professor at Monash University and the University of Melbourne, supervises higher-degree research students, and is actively involved in multiple clinical trials.

Associate Professor Woon consults privately at Epworth Freemasons and Epworth Eastern, and holds public appointments at Austin Health and Eastern Health. He serves as Deputy Leader of the USANZ Genitourinary Oncology Special Advisory Group, Urology Lead for the Victoria Complex Onco-Vascular Group (VCOG), and Urology Lead at the Epworth Freemasons Clinical Institute.

He is also the immediate past President of the Australian Chinese Medical Association Victoria (ACMAV), where he champions cultural inclusion, education, and health equity.
