Dr Edwina Coghlan

Edwina discovered a passion for Obstetrics and Gynaecology during her 5th year rural medicine rotation in Western Australia. She then undertook general training in the remote Kimberly region of Western Australia, before starting her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at King Edward Hospital in Perth.

Edwina moved to Victoria with her husband and 3 children to pursue her specialist career in regional Victoria. She has strong family connections to both Ballarat and Wangaratta. She has completed advanced training in high risk obstetrics, pelvic floor and minimally invasive surgery at University Hospital Geelong, Joan Kirner Women's and Children-Sunshine and with the OGB- group.

Edwina is a Women's Health Specialist, and part of the OGB team. She believes in a holistic, patient centred approach to pregnancy and women's health care. Edwina is excited to provide care to the Women of Surf Coast and neighbouring regions.
