Areas of Interest
A/Prof Martin Hiscock trained in Oxford, England, and is an experienced Interventional Cardiologist based at Epworth Hospital, Richmond. His primary interest is the treatment of chest pain or discomfort and specialises in stenting coronary (heart) arteries and bypass grafts. He uses non-invasive CT screening of heart arteries. He also manages high blood pressure, heart valve problems and arrhythmias.
Martin is actively involved in teaching medical students and is an Associate Professor of the University of Melbourne. He is also a member of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
Martin is part of the Epworth Policy & Strategy Committee and Senior Leaders Group, and has been a member of the Epworth Richmond Medical Advisory Committee for over a decade. He holds the AFRACMA qualification in Medical Administration. He is the Director of the Epworth Cardiac Sciences Clinical Institute and an Epworth Medical Foundation donor.
