Dr Mehr completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and trained at the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne and Children's Hospital at Westmead, Sydney. He has been a Consultant Allergist/Immunologist for 15 years. His appointments include Consultant Staff Specialist at the Royal Children's Hospital, and Immunopathologist at Dorevitch Pathology.

Dr Mehr provides care to children with eczema, food/insect/drug allergies, FPIES, eosinophilic esophagitis, hayfever/insect anaphylaxis (including those requiring immunotherapy), immunodeficiency and periodic fever syndromes. He is providing a food oral immunotherapy programme to infants/young children.
