Areas of Interest
Dr Elmer is a fellowship-trained urologist with a subspecialty interest in female and functional urology, including pelvic floor reconstruction, prolapse surgery, continence surgery, and transitional urology. She has specific expertise in sacrocolpopexy and mesh alternatives, having completed a Functional Urology Fellowship and international training in robotic sacrocolpopexy. Dr Elmer is currently leading the Transition Urology Clinic at Royal Melbourne Hospital, supervises a functional urology fellow and is the Deputy Chair of the Female Urology Special Advisory Group, USANZ.
