Program: Presentation and Q&A

• 6 tables with 5-8 GPs each
• 1 VMO per table (mixed specialities) – presenting for 10 minutes, interactive conversation and questions for 10 minutes. Then the VMO moves to the next table to present.
• 3 rounds of the above, followed by a 30-minute break for dinner, two more rounds, then a break for dessert, and a final round.

Please join us for an educational evening providing an opportunity to meet a local Epworth specialist and hear updates in their field.

Each specialist will spend 20 minutes at your table letting you know of updates in their field, presenting case studies and answering your questions.

Learning Outcomes

1. Explain essential information about symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options for endometriosis.
2. Discuss what joint injections are available and when to use them in General Practice 
3. Describe investigations of knee arthritis.
4. Describe a rational approach to the investigation of dysphagia in adults.
5. Explain emerging local treatments in urology
6. Describe the calcium scoring and what this means to the patient’s treatment.
